Hidden along the Southern boundary of the Okavango Delta, Omogolo’s 1600 hectares offer pristine bush and many species of birds and wildlife. It is our mission to create an increase of habitat for Botswana’s wildlife, and we do this by providing constant water at the natural pans that are in front of each lodge. Our lodges are wide-spread, very private and comfortable self-catering holiday homes, with all-day staff on call. Here you can enjoy Botswana’s nature at its best, overlooking your "own" waterhole, in all tranquillity, undisturbed by other guests. As owners, we are passionate about this wilderness area and have decided to become part in preserving it. We love sharing this with you and hope you will enjoy the beauty of this land as much as we do.

Mangwane Hideaway

Enjoy being surrounded by the wildlife of the Okavango Delta in this comfortable and very private self-catering vacation home. Mangwane's two separate guest bedrooms are spacious and furnished in a rustic, modern style in soft bush green. Either take an outdoor shower or a bath with a view of the bush. Each of them sleeps 2 persons and has its own veranda, overlooking the natural waterhole and offering wildlife viewing right on your doorstep. The main area of the lodge offers you a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area, a lounge area furnished in the hues of the Delta blue, a desk and a spacious veranda. Admire the vastness of the African bush with a drink on our viewing deck, relax by the pool and enjoy your sundowners on the fire deck - a perfect place to watch elephants and other wildlife up close while they drink and bathe at the waterhole.

Motswiri Hideaway

Motswiri is the Setswana name for Leadwood tree. One of these old giants provides the shade on the veranda, as well as housing for Buffalo weavers, Red headed weavers and Blue waxbills. The large elevated deck overlooks a natural waterhole that is a regular drinking spot for birds, elephants and other wildlife. During the dry months water is pumped into the drinking trough on the side of the waterhole. The two spacious bedrooms each have an en-suite bathroom with shower and open to the bush. Each bedroom has a King Size Extra Length bed, which can be set up as two single beds as well. Extra "camper beds" are available. Central is the large lounge/dining area with a well-equipped kitchen, including a large fridge with freezer and a gas stove with oven. Guests have the exclusive use of the lodge. Full-time staff is available for housekeeping and any other assistance guests may require. The lodge is eco-friendly. Hot water and electricity are provided by solar energy and the wooden structure with canvas walls and thatched roof blends in with nature.

Valley Hideaway

Valley Hideaway is positioned along an old fossil river, creating a line of smaller water holes. Hence the name. One of these waterholes is positioned in front of the deck and is already a popular drinking and bathing spot for many species of wildlife. An evergreen Shepherd tree provides a nice shady area on the deck and is home to many birds. The lodge has one spacious bedroom with a King Size Extra Length bed, which can be converted to two single beds. The couch can be pulled out to make an extra double bed, or "camper beds" can be added. The ensuite bathroom has a bath overlooking the waterhole. There is an outside shower on the deck. The large living area has a well-equipped kitchen with a large fridge with freezer and a gas stove with oven. The lodge is eco-friendly and the wooden structure with canvas walls and thatched roof blends in with nature. Hot water and electricity are provided by solar energy. Staff can be called in by radio at any time of the day - other than that, they will leave you in peace to enjoy this beautiful spot in all privacy!
